James LaBrie is one of the most recognizable and highly acclaimed vocalists in the progressive rock and metal world, best known as the powerful and dynamic voice of prog gods, Dream Theater. In a career that has spanned over 30 years, James has recorded a multitude of albums, both with Dream Theater and various side projects (Frameshift, Tim Donahue, Explorer's Club, True Symphonic Rockestra, Ayreon and more), and appeared in several DVD's featuring Dream Theater's live performances.  

James released his first solo effort in 1999, under the band name MullMuzzler and recorded a follow-up 2001 album under that moniker as well, before forming the James LaBrie band with keyboardist and long-time songwriting partner, Matt Guillory. The group released it's first effort, Elements Of Persuasion, in 2005, followed by Static Impulse (2010), to high praise from the prog metal community. The band's newest disc, Impermanent Resonance (released in July 2013) offers up a veritable smörgåsbord of progressive-based extreme metal for you to feast your ears on. Be sure to check it out!
